Our client, a leader in property management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting various properties. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Perform technical and mechanical functions as directed by the Regional Operations Manager to ensure maximum efficiency and service to the building and its tenants.
- Conduct daily local travel between properties to perform troubleshooting and repairs of facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical tasks (company vehicle included)
- Assist with installation and alterations of building equipment systems while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Interact with tenants professionally and respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED with technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
- At least three years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance.
- Familiarity with fire/life safety equipment and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact successfully with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
- Universal Certification and a valid, clean driving record.
