Project Architect – Design Leadership Meets Real Ownership

Location: Grand Rapids, MI or Novi, MI Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience and licensure)

As a Project Architect , you’ll be a key player in delivering high-impact projects in higher education, healthcare, and civic/municipal markets. This position offers true ownership—both in your role and in the firm itself.

What You’ll Do as a Project Architect:

  • Lead the technical development and documentation of medium-scale projects

  • Collaborate with architectural teams, engineers, and consultants through all project phases

  • Manage construction documentation, detailing, and specifications

  • Oversee construction administration and ensure adherence to design intent

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal process and quality improvements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

  • 5+ years of experience (preferred) in a Project Architect role or equivalent

  • Licensure preferred, or actively pursuing licensure

  • Advanced knowledge of Revit (AutoCAD and BSD SpecLink are a plus)

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively
