We specialize in residential and commercial remodeling and repair projects and are looking to expand our skilled trades team with an experienced Painter and Carpenter.
Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior and exterior painting as well as general carpentry, including framing, trim work, and drywall installation and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform interior and exterior painting tasks including surface preparation, priming, and finish painting
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures (e.g., walls, floors, doors, cabinets)
* Measure, cut, and assemble wood or other materials using hand and power tools
* Assist with drywall hanging, taping, and finishing
* Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client needs
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Qualifications:
* experience in both painting and carpentry
* Proficient in using hand and power tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with spray painting equipment and finishes
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
