Intern - Development + Construction Accounting

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Intern will be responsible for supporting the Development and Construction Accounting team in the daily workflow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Entering contracts and change orders in the accounting system
• Assisting with preparation and distribution of monthly reporting packages
• Assisting with the review and processing of vendor invoices
• Assisting with various account reconciliations
• Assisting with the review and processing of vendor invoices
• Other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Rising junior or senior who is majoring in Accounting, Business Admin or Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and ability to learn company specific software.
• Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Must be able to comprehend business transactions and documents.
