Job Description
- Review engineering drawings, site plans, and construction documents to ensure compliance with VDOT standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ensure all plans adhere to applicable construction and development standards, including VDOT Design Standards and Public Facilities Manual.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and surveyors to make necessary corrections and ensure conformity with approved plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline or Construction Management.
- Experience in the field supporting building or roadway construction.
- Proficiency in project management, construction, design, and project coordination.
- Familiarity with civil drawings and construction management.
- Experience with RFI, commercial construction, and civil construction.
This position is based onsite at our Richmond office or a VDOT location. You will have the opportunity to become fully immersed in VDOT project planning and construction through a reputable engineering firm local to Richmond.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.Company BenefitsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
