Commercial CSA Estimator

Description

Prepare detailed and accurate conceptual estimates for various project types, including commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Participate in GC/subcontractor project walks to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.

Develop and submit competitive bids for projects ranging from $2 million to $25 million.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are accurately estimated.

Utilize estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, SmartBid, or similar) to create comprehensive cost estimates.

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.

Assist in the negotiation of contracts and change orders with clients and subcontractors.

Provide support during the pre-construction phase, including value engineering and cost-saving recommendations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years experience estimating experience

5+ years in Construction Management

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, and/or Business preferred

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project scheduling software knowledge

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr.
