Job Title: Field Engineer Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Engineer Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role involves visiting various job sites in the metro area to inspect and prepare sites for reconstruction projects. The Field Engineer Inspector will utilize specialized instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping, accurately marking their locations on the ground and updating software systems for office-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Visit different job sites in the metro area prior to contractor digging for reconstruction projects.
• Utilize instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping.
• Mark the locations of detected systems on the ground and within software programs.
• Coordinate with the office team to update maps and blueprints based on field findings.

Essential Skills

• Experience with GIS, utility industry, and sewage systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in underground surveying or construction.
• Field engineering experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any previous experience with blueprints or maps is advantageous.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred.

Work Environment

The role involves working in various locations around the metro area, primarily outdoors. You will be paired with another team member to travel to and work at the sites. The workday starts at the Woodbury office around 7:00 AM, though this may vary depending on site location. You must be comfortable working in different environments and weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $67000.00/yr.
