Job Description

The Process Engineer-Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and verifying manufacturing processes. The role focuses on enhancing industrial processes while ensuring a safe working environment that consistently produces high-quality components and assemblies on schedule and at competitive market prices.

Responsibilities

  • Represent manufacturing in product development efforts.
  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Provide digital media for the manufacture and inspection of cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform process simulations.
  • Manage cost and time constraints.
  • Perform risk assessments.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Operations.
  • Experience in process simulations.
  • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
  • CAD or AutoCAD skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • SolidWorks experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Arlington within a small wire harness manufacturing environment in the aerospace and defense industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
