About the Role

As a Quality Operator at Maverick Pipe in Rantoul, IL , you will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency and product integrity by inspecting PVC bundles, reporting quality metrics, and assisting with production line operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Shift:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, Sun-Wed OR Wed-Sat. Employees work every other Wednesday.

Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, Sun-Wed OR Wed-Sat. Employees work every other Wednesday.

Pay: $22.50 $23.50/Hour

What Youll Do

Follows leadership direction to support production goals ensures efficient and quality-focused operations
Inspects and logs PVC bundles as they are produced verifies compliance with quality standards
Reports first pass acceptance rates identifies quality deviations for corrective action
Conducts quality testing and line inspections ensures consistent and reliable output
Assists with product changeovers supports smooth transitions and minimal downtime
Operates production line equipment as needed demonstrates flexibility and teamwork

Who You Are

Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in PVC pipe production
High school diploma or equivalent required
Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and quality checks
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime

Physical Abilities

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Must be able to stand for long periods and operate machinery
Works in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise and temperature variation
Adheres to all safety protocols and uses PPE as required
