Job Description:

The Facilities Supervisor will manage a team of Porters and oversee property cleanliness interior/exterior , trash & recycling program, curb appeal, pool maintenance and overall amenity areas of Onni South Lake Union. The Facilities Supervisor promotes a positive image of the property to residents and guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address any added request of the management team.

What Will You Do?

  • Communicates daily with direct supervisor about the status of scheduled work, staffing program and needs of team to best perform

  • Ensures cleaning supplies & necessary equipment are in stock , updates supervisor for ordering when needed

  • Overseeing 3 rd party landscaping company and report deficiencies to appropriate leadership

  • Conduct weekly light ing audit focused on common areas , ensuring interior and exterior of property are presented in best fashion .

  • Manage Daily garbage and recycling program, working with garbage removal company representatives where needed

  • Par k ing garage cleanliness, including storage rooms, offices, elevator vestibules , entryways

  • Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, alert ing Maintenance to items needing repair

  • Maintain constant cleanings of l obbies, front desks, package rooms, elevator vestibules , and mail rooms

  • Proactively plan capital projects and budget tools and equipment needed for property with Senior Maintenance Manager

  • Oversee exterior cleaning includ ing power washing, wiping down surfaces and enter phones, leaf blowing, salting, shoveling, overhead awnings maintenance, retail glass fronts, Onni Park maintenance, g raffiti removal, holiday and exterior light management

  • V acuuming, surface wipe down and waste room cleanings on all residential floors

  • Amenity Space cleanings , activation and reset programs. Duties to include daily BBQ cleanings, dog park daily management, furniture reset, tv and music oversite, power washing, steam and saunas daily cleanings, furniture cleanings, constant gym and locker room cleanings and resets

  • Manage Pool cleanliness and chemical program, keeping proper certifications and ensuring Porters are trained to help in pool management

  • Manage team of Porters , completing all scheduling, timecard and time off management

  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks on time

  • Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected promptly

  • Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules

  • Immediately report all unsafe conditions

  • Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described above without seeking outside contractor aids

  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to and foster a team approach to serving residents and supporting a successful community

  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities

  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance and p ool logs

  • Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility to ensure smooth operations

  • Perform g eneral building preventive maintenance tasks

  • Reg ularly inspect and maintain company equipment to ensure proper inventory control and cleanliness

  • Follows all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws

  • Perform other duties as assigned


What you Bring
  • One (1) year experience in a supervisory position preferred

  • 2+ years of building operation and maintenance experienc e

  • 1-2 years of direct supervisory or management experience preferre d

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment

  • Experience using hand or power tools, or equipment preferred

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to prospective residents and guests

Salary Range:

$78,000-$82,000
