Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman to join our team in multifamily construction projects. The Journeyman will perform a variety of construction tasks with precision and professionalism, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and according to plans and codes. This role requires expertise in one or more trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) with a strong understanding of multifamily building systems and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Perform skilled construction tasks including framing, drywall, installation of fixtures, or trade-specific work.
Assist with installation and maintenance of systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or finish carpentry.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Collaborate with other trades and construction team members to maintain efficient workflow.
Inspect completed work for accuracy and adherence to plans and specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working order.
Report progress, issues, or changes to foreman or supervisor.
