Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11 pm

Location: Dalton GA

Job Summary:

  • As a Warehouse lift truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a lift truck

  • to unload, load, and move rolls of carpet and sundries in a warehouse environment. Your primary

  • duties will include using a hand-held scanning device to pull orders and accurately record inventory,

  • loading and unloading trucks, and moving products to designated areas for storage or shipment. You

  • will be required to follow all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work

  • area.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate lift truck to unload and load rolls of carpet and sundries.

  • Use a hand-held scanning device to pull orders and record inventory accurately.

  • Move products to designated storage areas or trailers for shipment.

  • Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure products are secured properly.

  • Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

  • Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

  • Report any equipment defects or issues to the appropriate personal.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in time.

  • Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience operating a lift truck in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
