SUE/Survey Technician

Position Summary: Performs assignments requiring extensive knowledge of utility locating/marking of all underground utility types. This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to locate subsurface utilities
• Mark utilities upon location
• Excavate utilities as needed
• Interpret roadway and utility construction plans and utility record drawings

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
• Valid Drivers License Required
