Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Drainage Engineer to join our growing water resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater management systems for a variety of public and private sector projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant drainage solutions. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field). 3+ years of experience in drainage or water resources engineering. Proficiency in ICPR4 and at least one of the following: HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or ArcGIS. Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles. Experience preparing technical reports and permit documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater systems using ICPR4, SWMM, HEC-RAS, and other tools. Design stormwater conveyance systems, detention/retention facilities, and green infrastructure. Prepare drainage reports, construction documents, and permit applications. Conduct field investigations and site assessments. Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and environmental scientists on integrated project teams. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
