PCSI is looking for an Electrical Supervisor on the facility operations & maintenance (O&M) and repair contract at Detroit Arsenal! The Electrical Supervisor is apart of a 60+ employee project team in the Electrical and Fire System shops. This role is responsible for ensuring and reporting on the quality of the team's work and working with the client to execute project-level work timely and within contract requirements. The Electrical Supervisor supports front-line staff by providing training, maintaining available supplies, and enforcing safety policies. **The full scope of the contract is 55 buildings over nearly 2 million square feet space on a military installation. Serving people of all abilities in their life's journey is at the heart of what we do. **What You'll Do as Electrical Supervisor:** + Supervise Electrical and Fire System shops, executing a facility operations & maintenance (O&M) and repair contract on a military installation. + Direct installation, O&M, and repair of overhead and underground medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, transformers, substations, switchgear, motor control centers, electrical panels, secondary distribution systems, photovoltaic systems, exterior lighting, traffic signal controllers, lightning protection systems/arrestors, auxiliary generators and uninterrupted power supply systems. + Direct installation, O&M, and repair of monitoring systems, fire detection, fire suppression, building mass notification systems and fire systems acceptance testing. + Project Leader for Electrical and Fire systems projects and project level conversions, scope development, estimates, resource planning, scheduling and execution. + Responsible for DMO and PMO subcontracted work proposals, service agreements, scope, coordination, scheduling and execution. + Responsible for timely communication with the government for failed system reporting, impact/shutdown notifications, work schedules, meetings, events, design reviews, support requests, CIN reviews, and COR requests for information. + Responsible for section's preventive maintenance (PM) program; update program as needed. + Responsible for providing accurate feeder data/information/reports to ensure Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and reports are completed to standards and, submitted on time. Manage workload using systems and reports to prioritize, assign and schedule work, and brief the Operations Manager on work backlog. + Ensure section's contract requirements are completed with in-house labor to the maximum extent possible, implement alternate work schedules when required to execute firm-fixed price work. + Determine spare parts required to be on-hand in bench stock and coordinate with the Supply Team to ensure availability of parts; ensures employees follow local supply chain management policies. + Develop section policies/procedures; measure performance against quality standards, recommend/implement productivity & efficiency improvements. + Work with Environmental Health & Safety Manager's to ensure compliance with contract, federal, state, local, company, & site EHS requirements. + Enforce industry, company, and site safety standards/policies, including wear & proper use of PPE; participate in incident investigations to determine root cause, recommends/implements corrective and preventive actions. + Coordinate with Training Manager to develop task qualification lists and training/certification/license requirements; manage section's training program. + Responsible for administrative review of timesheets, completed work orders, and submitted purchase requests for accuracy and required information. + Enforce all requirements of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Employee Handbook, and local site policies. + Responsible for personnel actions such as writing/revising job descriptions, interview questions, employee recognition, and disciplinary actions. + Ensure employees comply with company and site requirements for proper care and maintenance of government and company property. **Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** **What You'll Need to Be Successful:** + High school diploma or GED equivalent required, some college preferred. + Minimum 3- 5 years experience in an electrical field required. + 1-2 years prior supervisory or leadership experience in facility O&M preferred.
