Marine Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to install, repair, and connect equipment for all electrical services on ships with minimal supervision. This role involves laying out, pulling, lifting, and installing cables and conduits efficiently, as well as preparing work areas, drilling holes, grinding metal surfaces, and mounting equipment. You will also be responsible for testing electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items and performing other related tasks that may become essential to the position. Responsibilities Install, repair, and connect equipment for all electrical services on ships. Lay out, pull, lift, and install cables and conduits. Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment. Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items. Perform other related tasks as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in shipyard electrical work. Knowledge of marine electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical components. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Skill in conduit bending and electrical wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as an Electrician Mate or Marine Electrician. Ability to run conduit and use cable pullers. Willingness to work outside in any weather conditions. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bremerton, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
