Steel Roll Operator Burton, MI 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) $17-$19 per hour (based on experience) Contract-to-Hire We are recruiting for a local, family-owned business specializing in high-quality steel processing and manufacturing. With a commitment to precision and efficiency, we take pride in producing top-tier steel products for our customers. We're looking for an experienced Steel Roll Operator to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Operate steel rolling machinery to process materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings . Monitor machine settings, adjustments, and production flow to ensure quality output. Inspect finished steel products for precision, uniformity, and defects . Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in troubleshooting and routine maintenance of rolling equipment. Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment . Be available for mandatory overtime when required. Qualifications: Previous steel industry experience is required. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and measurements . Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control . Capable of working in a physically demanding environment . Reliable transportation and ability to work 1st shift. Must provide a resume and complete an interview process .
