Electrical Foreman Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman Electrician to lead commercial electrical construction projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, from ordering materials to managing manpower and scheduling inspections. The foreman will also perform hands-on electrical work, ensuring that installations and repairs meet NEC standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the foreman will supervise crews and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. A commitment to safety and quality is paramount, with regular safety inspections and adherence to electrical codes and construction practices. Responsibilities: Lead commercial electrical projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality. Order materials, manage manpower, and schedule inspections. Perform electrical work to ensure compliance with NEC standards. Supervise crews and serve as the primary client contact. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with codes. Plan and execute wiring, fixture, and control equipment installations. Install system components and wiring per NEC and NFPA guidelines. Follow blueprints and diagrams for installations. Use tools like hacksaws, pipe threaders, and conduit benders for conduit installation. Pull and splice wiring, connect to control apparatus. Test circuits for compatibility and safety. Adjust and repair equipment as needed. Prioritize tasks to meet project goals. Skills & Qualifications: Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints. Skilled in conduit bending and electrical wiring. Experienced in commercial construction and troubleshooting. Capable of pulling wire and running conduit. Knowledgeable in minimizing material waste and ensuring concealed wiring. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
