Concrete Foreman - Livonia, MI $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Great Benefits Bonus Programs Job Description We are seeking a skilled Concrete Foreman to oversee the forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete at various construction sites. This role involves smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools. The Concrete Foreman will also be responsible for aligning forms, setting braces to support sides of excavation, and leading a team of concrete finishers and laborers. The work includes flat work, site concrete, and foundational projects. Responsibilities Form, pour, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools such as float, mixer, screed, edger, trowel, wedge bolt, and levels. Align forms and set braces to support excavation sides. Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete. Lead and oversee a team of concrete finishers and laborers. Run jobs effectively and ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Essential Skills 5-10 years of experience as a foreman or superintendent in masonry, brick paving, and concrete. Proficiency in reading blueprints and project plans. Experience with concrete finishing tools and techniques. Ability to apply hardening and sealing compounds, waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces. Experience installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete Why Work Here?
