Pay Range $100,300.00-$137,900.00 Annual This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. The Market Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with distribution, contracting, engineering, and facility channels. The MDM will work closely with the Specification Representative and Account Manager to maximize JM sales of industrial insulation products within a specific geography. JM industrial insulation products are sold directly to wholesale distributors and contractors servicing the industrial construction markets. The MDM has responsibility for revenue generation and maintaining existing business. This job is a work from home position but will require travel within the region. This region includes Southern Texas and Southern Louisiana. A company car with a gas card is provided. The ideal candidate will be based in Houston, TX. Your Day-to-Day Develop and maintain relationships with JM industrial distribution partners, including periodic business strategic planning and review Develop and maintain relationships with key contractors in each major market and drive business growth at these accounts Joint sales calls & training with distributor sales representatives Promote and implement JM value-added selling model to contractors, distributors, and end user facilities personnel within territory Develop strategies for increasing market penetration in all major markets Major project targeting and tracking Resolve channel conflict between competing JM customers Recruit new distributors and contactors Conduct joint calls with distributors on target accounts Provide new product introductions including some hands-on training Gather and share market intelligence (pricing, competition) with Specification Representative and Account Manager Partner with Specification Representative to identify key facilities and engineering relationships to develop New product introductions Train distributor and contractor personnel Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
