Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer,Engineer electrical systems and components with a focus on photovoltaic (PV) systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and control systems. Design PV systems using software such as PVsyst, and develop electrical schematics, layout diagrams, and technical specifications for installation and modifications. Prepare power evacuation reports for grid-connected projects, and design grounding and lightning protection systems.Conduct detailed system modeling, including load flow, fault, and stability analysis using power system tools like PSSE. Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into comprehensive project designs while ensuring compliance with technical requirements.Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Implement quality assurance and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies to optimize system performance and reliability. Monitor system operation, recommend improvements, and lead root cause analyses to address complex issues.Stay current with emerging technologies in PV systems and electrical engineering. Lead R&D initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Liaise with utilities, grid operators, and regulatory bodies. Represent the company in public consultations and present technical findings to stakeholders.Required: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering; 24 months of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.Full time/ Salary per year: $71,261
