Civil Engineering Technician II

Full-time year-round person needed. Associate degree with civil experience or 2-year similar experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD preferred.Legible handwriting and accurate spelling required to log data.Ability to learn/work with designing programs.Ability to work outside/do occasional physical labor.Ability to perform surveying and staking.Ability to lift 75 lbs. and climb into manholes.Perform manhole inspection, pipe inspection, field inspection.Assist engineers and technicians in the field.Ability to assist in office duties as needed.Duties: Perform surveying using GPS and Total Station, construction observation, site layouts, piping grades, cost estimates, plan preparation, and assisting engineers and technicians out in the field and in the office.Work 40 hrs./wk., M-F and occasional weekends.
