Description of Position -- This position includes, but is not limited to the following duties:i. Labor intensive work will be required on an everyday basis for this position. Thiswork is to include but not limited to asphalt raking and shoveling, operating andlifting handheld power tools and equipment, and other miscellaneous laborwork.ii. Learn to operate smaller pieces of equipment such as a side cast broom or skidsteer.iii. Assist paver operator to guide trucks into paver.iv. Assist truck drivers once truck is dumped to clean asphalt from their truck tomaximize production.v. Abide by all safety guidelines, company policies, and quality of work standards.vi. A valid driver's license is encouraged, but not mandatory.vii. Consistently keep a well maintained, organized, and clean work area.viii. No paving or construction experience is required to apply for this position but isencouraged.viii. Maintain and report tickets to Foreman daily on tonnages hauled.ix. Paving or construction experience is preferred, but not mandatory to apply forthis position.
