Welder Machine Operator Trainee

2nd shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. The position will train on 1st shift(7:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.) for approximately three months. As a WeldingMachine Operator, you will perform a variety of standard operations tooperate a computer-controlled welding machine to produce welded wiremesh to meet production schedule requirements, meet all qualityspecifications, perform set-ups, changeovers and assist with routinemaintenance. The Welding Machine Operator does not physically performthe welding, the machine does. Essential duties and responsibilities: \~Work from specification sheets, job orders and verbal instructions \~Ensure that all wires are properly positioned for feeding into thewelder \~ Maintain continual visual inspection of product and processfor proper positioning, welding, and cutting \~ Clean and maintainwelding electrodes on a regular basis and make minor adjustments tomachine as needed \~ Perform and record prescribed quality checks \~Inform supervisor of any processing or operating problems \~ Removewelded rolls of mesh from rollers \~ Palletize finished rolls \~ Monitorwire field \~ Perform general preventative maintenance task \~ Helpother machine operators as needed Job Requirements: \~ High SchoolDiploma required or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience as amachine operator or very good mechanical aptitude \~ Must be able towork independently \~ Must be detail oriented and organized \~ Maintaina clean work area \~ Lifting requirements up to approximately 50 lbs. \~Maintain high levels of efficiency and quality \~ Good mechanicalaptitude [Click Here to Apply](
