What We Are Looking For:**We are currently seeking to hire a Vegetation Management Foreman to provide leadership for all functions of the vegetation management crews in our Wyoming operations. This person will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that weed management tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The position is based in Rawlins, WY. We offer competitive pay (starting at $27/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential and provided lodging. Positions are full time and seasonal, from March through November 2025, with possibility moving up within the company. **Position Responsibilities:**- Lead and motivate a team of weed control technicians.- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.- Schedule and coordinate daily activities to meet project deadlines.- Conduct assessments of client properties to identify weed infestations and determine appropriate control methods.- Plan and implement weed control strategies, including the application of herbicides, mechanical control, and other control measures.- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of weed control efforts.- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.- Coordinate logistics for various projects.- Provide regular updates on project progress and address supervisor of any concerns.- Adhere to all industry regulations and safety protocols.- Enforce safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.- Stay informed about the latest developments in weed control techniques and regulations. **Key Capabilities:**- Assist with vegetation monitoring/surveys and other reclamation projects- Identify plants using a key- Manage weeds using a truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.**Qualifications****Experience/Education Requirements:**- At least two (2) years of relevant experience leading a weed control program (equivalent education).- A commitment to high standards in safety.- A Wyoming certified pesticide applicators license or licenses in nearby states- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.- A clean driving record.- Ability to travel regularly to project locations.- Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to lift 50 pounds.- Be organized and detail oriented.
