Construction Inspector

Whitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leadingprovider of environmental and geotechnical engineering and consultingservices throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting for aConstruction Inspector. Salary commensurate with experience.We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Inspectorwith ideally 1+ year of experience to join our team. This positioninvolves construction phase testing and inspection of foundationconstruction; earthwork; soil placement and compaction; concrete;reinforcing steel; and various other construction materials andoperations. Location: Southborough MA or Rocky Hill CT Responsibilities:Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, andsteel); Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regardinginspection, observation, and testing results; Transportation of samplematerials for laboratory analysis; Preparation of field data andtechnical reports; and Travel to various construction sites to performinspections. Requirements: Must possess a valid driver?s license; 1+year experience in field construction inspection and testing preferred;Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification preferred; and ACI, AASHTO,or ICC certifications preferred.
