Municipal Water and Sewer Pipelayer

Our customers also value that we provide real solutions to the many challenges and problems that developers face not only in planning but throughout the construction process and beyond. **Duties and responsibilities:**- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements- Dig trenches with trenching tools to required depths- Check slopes for conformance with OSHA requirements- Install and sanitary sewer and water and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems- Cover pipes with earth or other materials- Test pipe systems for leaks and other problems- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas- Ensure all installations meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations.- Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and under budget.**Qualifications:**- Proven work experience as a pipe layer.- Experience working with various types of piping systems.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.- Ability to use levels, lasers, and other construction equipment.- Excellent problem-solving abilities.- Strong attention to detail.- Prefer 1 year of construction experience.- Hardworking- Dependable- Must be able to show proof of age over 18 as well as prove identity and right to work in the US.- Must be able to successfully pass drug screening.- Pipe laser, pipe installation, heavy equipment operation, underground utilities, etc.WAGES DOE Benefits:- 401(k)- 401(k) matching- Dental insurance- Health insurance- Life insurance- Paid time off- Vision insuranceSchedule:- 10-hour shift- 12-hour shift- Day shift
