Heavy Equipment Operator w/ CDL Class A or B

Heavy Equipment Operator - CDL Class A/Class B** Ultimate LLC is **immediately hiring Heavy Equipment Operators** for commercial projects in the **Curtis Bay, MD** area. The pay is **$35 - $40** per hour based on experience. All **heavy equipment operators** are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. **Ultimate Job Duties** + Adequately operate hammer truck + Must be familiar with lever equipment (bacco, dozer, etc) + Be familiar with and complete daily equipment inspection checklists + Perform daily maintenance procedures (i.e. note the service due date, check fluid levels and make sure the equipment to be used is in good running order) + Clean and maintain tools, jobsite, trucks and equipment + General labor is a part of the job + DOT Medical Card Required + Supports foreman and supervisor with the development and execution of work plans, or develops and executes work plans to complete a job + Ensures equipment is thoroughly maintained and or lubricated prior to and during usage for all jobs + Performs daily inspection of equipment prior to its operation, completing inspection reports + Ensures a safe work environment prior to and during all work operations, and ensures that all work is done in accordance with company's safety manual and customers policies + Ensures that all work areas are designated as work areas when necessary with the appropriate indicators, markers, tape, etc. + Provides continuity with foreman and those personnel assisting on the job + Maintains a log of all work activity associated with all crane jobs + Participates in all company training when applicable + Maintains a safety conscious focus at all times + Strives to further skills **Trade Requirements** + **2-5** years of Operating experience + Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots) + Must have basic hand tools to perform trade + Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 80 lbs without assistance + Drug Test Required + Background Check Required + Clean Driving Record + Must have current Class A or Class B CDL license + Operational knowledge of all heavy equipment + Class A or B CDL + Competent knowledge with regards to rigging and load charts + 24 hour HAZWOPER training **Benefits** + Weekly pay Direct Deposit + Health Insurance + Dental and Vision Coverage + 401k + 401k Matching + Paid Time Off + Paid Company Training + Long term work
