JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Responsibilities: Operate hand tools and powertools safely and effectively for various tasks. Assist in thepreparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete products. Load, unload,and move materials and supplies. Clean and maintain work areas, tools,and equipment. Support carpenters and other team members with tasks asneeded. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.Perform general manual labor tasks such as mixing concrete and liftingheavy materials. Reliability and strong attendance are essentialwe valueteam members who show up ready to work each day Job Requirements: Usepower tools and equipment; apply basic math skills such as reading aruler and taking accurate measurements Previous experience in generallabor or construction preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials andperform physically demanding tasks. Strong commitment to safety andmaintaining a clean work environment. Reliable, respectful, and able towork well with others. Read plans, instructions, or specifications todetermine work activities. Read work orders or examine parts todetermine parts or sections of products to be produced. Trim or removeexcess material, using scrapers, knives, or band saws. Assemble, insert,and adjust wires, tubes, cores, fittings, rods, or patterns into molds,using hand tools and depth gauges. Align and assemble parts to producecompleted products, using gauges and hand tools. Measure and cutproducts to specified dimensions, using measuring and cuttinginstruments. Smooth surfaces of molds, using scraping tools orsandpaper. Measure ingredients and mix molding, casting material, orsealing compounds to prescribed consistencies, according to formulas.Remove excess materials and level and smooth wet mold mixtures. Pour,pack, spread, or press plaster, concrete, or other materials into oraround models or molds. Construct or form molds for use in casting clayor plaster objects, using plaster, fiberglass, rubber, casting machines,patterns, or flasks. Check the forms that hold the concrete to see thatthey are properly constructed. Set the forms that hold concrete to thedesired pitch and depth, and align them. Spread, level, and smoothconcrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or powerscreed, and float. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills andother fixtures in freshly poured concrete or pattern or stamp thesurface to provide a decorative finish. Mix cement, sand, and water toproduce concrete, grout, or slurry, using hoe, trowel, tamper, scraper,or concrete-mixing machine. Lift raw materials, finished products, andpacked items, manually or using hoists. Help production workers byperforming duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holdingmaterials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
