Job Description

Express has partnered with the largest automated solar manufacture in North America to find their next Production Operator II . With over 35 years of solar experience, it is their mission to reduce carbon emissions and improve access to clean energy!

What you get to do:

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
• Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedure

What you need to be successful:

• Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English
• Intermediate computer literacy; ability to analyze and interpret data read-outs
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, leads, coworkers, etc
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery/position
• Soldering experience is an asset

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 06:00AM 2:00PM, Switching to 12-hour rotating shifts in October

Pay: $21.00
