We are seeking an experienced Hydro Site Manager to lead and oversee site activities at a large hydroelectric power generation facility in Bridgeport, WA. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on experience in hydroelectric generator systems, turbine installation, and mechanical supervision. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of a major power infrastructure project.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and installation of hydro generator systems and auxiliaries
  • Lead and support a team of supervisors and technicians in executing mechanical and electrical installation tasks
  • Ensure adherence to safety (EHS), quality, and scheduling requirements
  • Prepare and execute detailed project plans, resource allocations, and site procedures
  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for coordination and progress tracking
  • Manage site documentation, punch lists, audits, and final project handover
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and site-related challenges in real-time
  • Conduct risk assessments, participate in review meetings, and implement action plans
  • Maintain compliance with local/state labor regulations and site-specific standards
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hydroelectric power projects, preferably in generator and turbine systems
  • Proven experience leading field teams and managing large-scale installations at dam or hydro sites
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of shaft alignment, bearing setting, on-site machining, and heavy mechanical installations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions with varying terrain and physical demands

  • Previous experience with large OEMs or EPC contractors in the hydro sector
  • Familiarity with Washington state labor laws and per diem-based field work schedules
