Commercial Building Engineer or Technician

Our client, a leading provider in the engineering and technical services industry, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance department supporting a new client. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of confidence in their technical skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial Building Engineer or Technician

Location: Fort Atkinson, WI

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and electrical systems.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems and respond to related issues.
• Conduct inspections of building systems including fire alarms and plumbing.
• Assist in implementing a preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school diploma preferred.
• 4-5 years of job-related experience in a similar role.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
