Heavy Equipment Operators-Pipe Layer Utility Construction

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking seasoned Heavy Equipment Operators with Utility Pipe Layer experience for an immediate start in Columbia SC! GPS Excavator & GPS Dozer experience required!

Job Type: Full-time, Weekly paid, Possible overtime
PAY: $20-$24/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shift will be M-F, 8 hours each day with possible weekend shift
SCHEDULE: Base hours 7:00am 3:30 pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: temp-to-perm

Qualifications:
4 years of utility pipe installation and heavy equipment operation required
Proven experience in pipe installation, including leveling and grading.
Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Familiarity with construction site operations and tools.

Job Responsibilities:
Install and align underground pipes (water, sanitary, and storm systems).
Perform pipe leveling and grading with precision.
Conduct general labor tasks, including shoveling, dirt work, and site preparation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Follow instructions and safety protocols to maintain a productive work environment.
Use hand tools such as cut off saw, wrenches, tampers, pumps lasers, levels.

Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass background check & drug screen
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
