Your job as a Maintenance Mechanic is to help assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

Whats the work schedule?

• 2 nd Shift; Monday through Friday 2 pm to 10 pm
• 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed
• Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour plus shift differential

Whats the Job?

• Inspect all machinery and moving equipment such as pumps, extruders, pelletizers, and other plastic extrusion process equipment and assists on maintenance jobs as required for malfunction and worn parts
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses repairs of all machinery and equipment relative to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment
• Checks guards for loose connections, checks for cleanliness, looseness of fittings
• Performs plant inspections daily and checks work log for daily projects and repairs
• Repairs all equipment and machinery assigned in a timely and safe manner
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

You and your experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• 3-5 years experience industrial mechanic preferred
• Reliability on attendance is a must and occasional overtime is required
