The Opportunity:
Utilize electrical engineering knowledge on current PCB designs to replace components as required Work closely with hardware design electrical engineers to understand current and future PCB designs Be part of a team to ensure sustainability of our products as components become obsolete in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electrical PCBs for component replacement or board redesign due to component obsolescence
  • Identify substitute electrical components to meet or exceed original design components
  • Conduct board testing to ensure replacement components perform in system same as prior deigned parts
  • Design board test fixtures as needed to support new component testing
  • Utilize software systems to conduct PCB testing as needed
  • Ability to work closely with both engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Create reports to summarize test results

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum BSEE from accredited college or university
  • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere as needed
  • Able to understand circuit schematics and BOM development
  • Ability to follow documented processes and create ECO's as needed
  • Able to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time

Desired:

  • Previous experience in an electrical testing position
  • Highly organized and focused on detail

The proposed salary range for this position is:
