Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with oxyacetylene torches.
- Familiarity with teardown and assembly of mechanical components.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Strong understanding of power tools and their proper usage.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices at all times.
- Teardown and assembly of machinery in line with strict specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize an array of tools, including power tools, micrometers, and bore gauges, ensuring accurate assembly and upkeep.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to support repairs or modifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise during operations.
Requirements:

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright in construction or industrial maintenance(preferably a steel mill).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
