Job Description

We are seeking an architect with both outstanding design and technical skills to contribute to superior architectural developments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. Possessing strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills is essential. Experience in creating engaging graphics for building design presentations is vital. Some limited travel within 400 miles is possible for project-related purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design to CA support for a broad range of Federal and Municipal Government, Higher Education and Research institutions, K-12 School, and Industrial/Manufacturing clients.
  • Assist in the design of high-performance buildings, historic preservation, learning environments, transit centers, office environments, and mission-critical and secure facilities.
  • Focus on transit and transportation-related projects.
  • Create construction documents and building details.
  • Collaborate with a team of 3-5 architects within the architecture/interiors group.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Substantial experience in construction documentation and building detailing.
  • Licensed architect with 10+ years of related experience in transit and transportation architectural design.
  • Experience in station, maintenance, and other support facilities design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Urban design experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Sketchup, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphics programs is desirable.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Work Environment

Join a highly collaborative architecture/interiors group of 31 professionals, primarily based in the Baltimore office. Teams typically consist of 3-5 architects working simultaneously. The environment encourages leveraging employees' strengths, with senior architects, project managers, and principals in the office every day. A hybrid schedule is offered after six months of employment, with opportunities to work on diverse projects including data centers, office spaces, auxiliary buildings, and industrial facilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
