As a Drafter you will be an integral member of the team. The following is a non-exhaustive list of Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Creates and responds to internal requests for custom drawings for, but not limited to, the following:

o Architectural details

o Multi-slide drawings/ Images for snapshot, catalog

o Shop/ Dealer drawings

o Create and maintain certification drawings

o Create / Review Extrusion die drawings

o Installation instructions

o Fabrication instructions, Fabrication drawings

Responsible for maintaining and updating, when necessary, all product AutoCAD files

Review orders and make recommendation, provides technical support.

Create Product Change Notice (PCN)

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand English and to clearly communicate over the telephone

Must have basic computer skills that include use of email and Microsoft Excel

Must possess a good understanding of mechanical systems

Must have ability to read and interpret architectural building plans

Must have at least 5 years of working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, Microsoft Excel, Solid Works a plus

Must demonstrate good math skills, especially in the areas of geometry and trigonometry

Must possess good company product knowledge

General knowledge of construction and construction terms a plus
