Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial/Industrial Paint Superintendent with expertise in epoxy flooring systems to oversee and manage painting and flooring projects. In this role, you will supervise crews, ensure project timelines are met, maintain a high standard of safety, and guarantee quality control across all assigned projects. Your leadership will be key in ensuring successful project completion while meeting client specifications and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of painters and flooring specialists for commercial and industrial projects.

  • Oversee the installation of epoxy flooring systems, ensuring proper surface preparation, mixing, application, and curing.

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines, budgets, and client specifications are adhered to.

  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and high-quality workmanship.

  • Coordinate and schedule materials, tools, and labor for each project.

  • Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.

  • Maintain open communication with clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.

  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of the job requirements.

  • Prepare progress reports for upper management and clients, highlighting any challenges and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Paint Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within commercial or industrial painting, with a strong focus on epoxy flooring.

  • Solid understanding of painting and flooring systems, including surface preparation, application techniques, and quality control.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high levels of safety and quality.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard safety regulations and procedures.

  • Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on collaboration.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or industry certifications a plus).
