ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Hiring Range: $20.00/Hour
The Assistant Project Management Intern will participate in a supervised, structured learning experience providing practical experience and skill development in a professional setting, with responsibilities often including assisting with projects, research, and other tasks as needed. The Internship program at Performant offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Healthcare/Insurance industry and develop valuable skills which can be applied to future employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Project Coordination: Develop and manage team schedules and tasks, identify and manage risks, ticket creation, draft communications.
Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, project ticket tracking and status review.
Documentation and Analysis: Support project-specific needs such as documentation, analysis, and information gathering.
Quality Monitoring: Work closely with project manager to monitor the quality of the program deliverables and work with teams to ensure objectives and success criteria are actively managed and met.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Teamwork: Collaborating well with others and contributing to a team environment.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to the internship being offered. In some cases, candidates who have recently graduated may qualify as well (restrictions ).
Typically, candidates must have achieved Junior class standing or greater.
Work is likely to be remote in nature, so the ability to work remotely and have reliable, secure Internet service is required.
