- Design control boxes using Solidworks, focusing on wiring, components, relays, and more.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new products and sub-assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineers to complete models and designs.
- Label all components, breakers, relays, conduits, terminals, and wiring.
- Perform modifications to enclosures as required.
- Document designs based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and complete all necessary engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in Solidworks for electrical design and drafting.
- Experience in creating detailed schematics and wiring plans.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as relays and wiring.
- Ability to generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Associate's Degree in CAD.
- 2+ years of experience with wiring and schematic drawings.
- 2-4 years of experience using Solidworks.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. You will have an office setting but will regularly collaborate with drafting and engineering teams. The company is experiencing rapid growth, introducing more automation, and offers opportunities for drafters to advance into designer roles with additional engineering responsibilities.
