The Quality General Supervisor is responsible for overseeing dayto-day operations of the quality assurance department within Rehlko. This role ensures that products meet internal and external quality standards and regulatory requirements through effective inspection, testing, and continuous improvements initiatives. Rehlko priorities include Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Your role will involve supervising employees, managing daily improvement measures, monitoring quality processes and audits, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. You will play a crucial role in driving product quality, reducing defects, and support customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Enforce and improve the companys quality assurance program in accordance with the established policies and procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to quality systems, procedures, and standards (i.e. ISO 9001).

  • Responsible for relaying quality feedback to group leaders, team leaders, supervisors, and operators promptly to help drive the reduction of rework, repair, and scrap.

  • Work closely with internal suppliers to help drive containment initiatives and incoming inspection activities.

  • Collaborate with personnel responsible for customer field complaints to drive corrective actions in response back to the assembly plant.

  • Collaborate with personnel responsible for warranty claims to drive corrective actions in response back to the assembly plant.

  • Maintain document control of finished good audits, torque audits, and other in-process audits and processes.

  • Conduct audits (internal and external) and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Work closely with the materials team to ensure that the supplied product has been inspected when indicated to do so.

  • Communicate with production and materials personnel the effectiveness date and compliance to all product or process deviations.

  • Manage and train the Quality Technicians, Final Inspectors, Reliability Technicians, and Quality Inspectors (including supplier quality inspectors) to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality processes, reduce scrap, reduce rework and repair, and increase productivity.

  • Manage associate time via Work Brain system, prepare reports, work on special projects, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field, or 5 years of quality experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

  • Strong leadership, growth mindset, and interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be capable of defining, analyzing, and resolving complicated problems.

  • Exceptional Excel, Microsoft Office, SAP, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated communication and leadership skills, with experience in leading large groups of associates in a common work cell.

The Salary range for this position is $79,500.00-$100,450.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
