IT Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead

BAE Systems is seeking a team leader for an IT Infrastructure engineering team supporting al large Federal Government component. The team is responsible for integrating the design, integration, and implementation of workstations, server (physical and virtual), storage, cloud, networking equipment, printers and other devices and systems on the network. The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering teams, and understand the various technologies in our environment to include VMWare, SAN's & DA's, Windows OS and Office applications, and cloud engineering. Should be familiar with MS PROJECT or similar project management tools. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Maintains the core infrastructure and application Service Level Objectives (SLO) Required Performance Measurement (RPM) standards. + Provides expertise in project planning, task management, and control; including demonstrated use of project scheduling, cost management, change management, and tracking tools. + Performs supervision and direction to ensure quality deliverables are created while managing costs, scheduling, and resources. + Collaborates with Senior Government IT Staff, and performs work independently to ensure that project goals and objectives are met. + Maintains infrastructure including the associated requirement when necessary to architect, design, configuration of databases, associated applications, API, interfaces, data, and implement any upgrades as deemed necessary. + Oversees and implements the application of necessary platform, transport services, other core services, assets and accounts, including updates to support enterprise applications. Provides systems integration services, including integrating database services and identifies potential systems integration issues; recommends integration strategies to facilitate data collection, data entry, data exchange, data reporting and query processes within and between existing COTS or Government applications. + Develops and distributes local and system wide configurations. + Provides continuous monitoring of infrastructure services and optional initiatives to ensure optimal configurations are implemented and that organizational guidelines for Change Management are properly followed. + Ensures continuous service improvement optimization and performance of infrastructure and application solution delivery. + Services, systems, assets, and applications are properly protected and maintained/delivered with in required compliance levels. + Has direct past experience, which demonstrates Enterprise IT Infrastructure Management and Operational delivery oversight for infrastructure services and application delivery, SQL and Oracle experience within 5 years. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + PMP certification + Experience with Atlassian Project Management suite + Experience Managing database support teams + Experience managing AWS cloud environments/teams **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
