Lead Electrical Engineer - Advanced Radar System

75kVA power draw Candidate must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Candidate must have strong verbal and written technical communication skills Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment Candidate must have the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams Candidate must have proven understanding of fundamental circuits and circuit components Candidate must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a multidisciplinary team environment and have experience mentoring & guiding team members Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area Possess a secret clearance, or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Strong understanding of Electronics including PCBA development, high speed digital design, RF design, high power amplifiers, RF cascade development, MIL-STD-461 EMI qualification and analysis, and radar system phase noise Experience with leading small to mid-sized technical teams Electrical design for military hardware or aerospace systems Original Posting: May 19, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
