This position is responsible for operating laminating equipment used in the production of vinyl flooring, monitoring temperature controls, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate laminating machines according to production specifications and blueprints Operate equipment specific to vinyl flooring production Monitor and adjust control panels to maintain proper heat settings for columns and materials Ensure correct alignment and adhesion of backing materials to vinyl surfaces Read and interpret temperature readings and gauges to ensure compliance with material specifications Apply tape and other bonding agents as needed Conduct routine quality checks to ensure finished vinyl flooring meets company standards Perform preventative maintenance on laminating equipment Keep accurate production records and report any malfunctions or inconsistencies to supervisors Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications: Prior experience operating laminating or similar industrial machinery (vinyl flooring experience preferred) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong understanding of temperature control and material handling Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods OK for recruiters to contact this job poster. post id: ... updated: [ ]
