Industrial Electrician | $46+HR | Direct Hire Must be open to all shifts! 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm 3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am Job Description As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. You will work with communication systems, radio-controlled cranes, gauges, PLCs, and both low and high voltage power distribution systems. Your role will involve diagnosing and correcting problems, performing preventative maintenance, and interfacing with design and engineering teams to ensure efficient equipment installations and repairs. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, design, and service electrical and electronic equipment. Diagnose and correct electrical issues and proactively seek to eliminate wastes and failures. Perform and document preventative maintenance checks and repairs. Use PLCs, microprocessor-based equipment, and computer software for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain hydraulic presses, thermal processing equipment, and robots. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to maintain equipment documentation integrity. Essential Skills Electrical Journeyman Card or 4+ years of industrial electrician experience. Experience with 480V 3 phase electrical systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems. Experience in running and installing electrical conduit. Strong ability to troubleshoot using a multimeter and other electrical testing tools. High School Diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and robotics automation. Combustion experience is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $96324.80 - $96324.80/yr. -They do get daily overtime (anything worked over 8hrs is time and a half), time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays) -$800 off insurance if you live tobacco free -Culture is very inclusive -Room for advancement -offer Tuition Reimbursement after a year of employment. - Company offers COL (cost of living) pay - Medical facility/ doctor on site that employees have access to - Cafe on site with hot meals (cooked on site), snacks and vending machines - Unlimited overtime per week / double time on Sunday's (no required overtime) - Can choose to work overtime before or after their shift - Managers are tenured and love to train / teach. Electricians have leads to lean on as well - Very efficient production - 96% run time where machines are not broken down - maintenance is mostly completing PMs - Union environment (union dues are typically 2 hours worth of pay per month roughly $50-60) - Very stable company/ their wheels business is the leading division in the company - Howmet will get electricians through program to get them journeyman certified - this process takes 3 years (great opportunity to receive journeyman cert) - Company typically puts anywhere from $10-20 million/ year into the facility for upgrades and new equipment, starting to upgrade to automation - Company provides uniforms - Vacation time - Paid weekly - Yearly boot allowance -401k = 60% match on first 6% plus 3% contribution oAll total is about 7% -10 set holidays Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
