General Laborer - 3rd Shift (11PM - 7AM, Sun-Thurs)

Performs a variety of activities involved in coating and lamination of papers, films, and other materials according to established procedures. Primarily responsible for material loading/unloading, observation of machine run conditions and the manufacture of products meeting quality specifications. May be assigned to any entry position in the facility**Essential Functions:**Performs the duties consistent with the Coating function including, but not limited to:- Follows, and assists crew in following environmental, safety, and housekeeping procedures and/or regulations.- Ensures that the coater is producing a quality product.- Ensures that raw and finished materials are correctly and efficiently put on and taken off the coater.- Ensures that necessary paperwork is completed as assigned- Assists in working towards productivity and waste reduction standards.- Assists in machine changeovers and associated set-ups and clean-ups.- Reports faulty operations and/or defective materials to Operator and/or Shift Leader.- Performs other duties as assigned.**Qualification Requirements:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have at least 6 months Lift Truck experience or be able to pass a Lift Truck licensing test. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.**Language Skills:**Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms within the plant.**Mathematical Skills:**Ability to perform basic math functions.**Work Environment:**This position normally works on the production floor which is exposed to a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions; generally tracking ambient conditions. The noise level is high. Hearing, eye and foot protection are mandatory in the manufacturing area. Occasional work at elevated levels, platforms/catwalks is required.
