Qualifications and Requirements BS Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer TX license 7+ years of engineering experience in design and management of TxDOT and municipal projects Proficiency in Microstation, GeoPak, Open Roads Design, AutoCad & Civil 3D Familiarity with TxDOT and municipality procedures, policies, and standards Leadership qualities, including excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and the capability to lead and manage entry-level engineers and designers Problem solving skills A desire to grow personally and professionally while mentoring and supporting the growth of the team Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serves as a Project Manager responsible for project delivery and overall client satisfaction Oversees and prepares plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates Responsible for overall supervision and quality of those projects which are assigned Assure projects are completed within the allocated period of time and within the budget that has been assigned Plan, organize, and supervise the work of our civil engineers Assist in business development activities, marketing, and industry events
