Job Title: Senior HVAC Technician

Position Summary:
Lakewood Country Club, a premier private club located in East Dallas, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience and hold a current EPA Universal Certification. This full-time position plays a critical role in maintaining optimal indoor climate and comfort levels across the club's facilities, ensuring reliable operation of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment (air handlers, exhaust fans, and portable units as needed)
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment
Diagnose complex HVAC system issues and recommend effective solutions
Monitor HVAC system performance and energy efficiency; adjust as necessary
Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and system performance
Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth facility operations
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations
Provide emergency support for HVAC-related issues during off-hours as needed (on-call rotation)
Support and mentor junior technicians and maintenance team members
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC experience
EPA Universal Certification (Required)
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical and control systems
Proficient in reading technical manuals
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid Texas driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in hospitality, resort, or club environments (a plus, but not required)
HVAC State Contractor's License (a plus, but not required)
