Commercial Glass Project Manager in North Charleston,SC,US

Full Job Description We are one of South Carolina's premier commercial glass and glazing contractors. We are currently expanding our Project Management team in our Charleston branch. The right individual will have the opportunity to grow within the glass industry by working with other senior estimators / project managers on our projects throughout South Carolina. Responsibilities will include reading blueprints and specifications for new and existing commercial construction projects, managing material logistics and labor resources. If you have experience in Project Management with another trade or at the General Contractor level, we can teach you the glass industry. DESCRIPTION Our Project Management team utilizes the estimates used to win our contracts and turns those into on time, in budget projects. Strong computer and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently or with others are essential to being successful in this role. Salary posted is a range and negotiable with experience and advancement potential within the company. Job Duties will include but are not limited to: Oversee daily management of construction projects from start to finish. Effectively communicate with our contractors Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed. Ensure projects are being executed within budget. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of each specifications and requirement for specific jobs Contacting vendors for delivery Create and tracking change orders for ongoing jobs Requirements/ Qualifications: Associates degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred 4 years minimum experience in the commercial construction industry Strong organizational skills A very high level of detail along with the ability to multitask is essential Proficient in Microsoft Office Company Benefits: Aggressive salary Performance bonus Company Car or allowance Competitive Benefits Package - Medical, Dental and Supplemental Benefits are available.
